Translations of memories in the photographic work of five artists – Like no other medium, photography is linked to memory as a direct connection to the past. By stopping the flow of time, it is the pure embodiment of „holding on“, of remembering. We show five artists going beyond the time-freezing nature of photography to find visual translations of memories.
