The series The Mouth of Krishna is inspired by the myth in which Yashoda looks into the child-god Krishna’s mouth and sees the entire universe contained within him. Albarrán Cabrera’s work reflects on this revelation to explore the idea that all things are interconnected and impermanent – echoing both Buddhist notions of emptiness and contemporary physics, where reality arises from dynamic fields rather than fixed building blocks. It invites viewers to consider how every point in existence can mirror the whole, blurring boundaries between the cosmic and the intimate.
