This summer, Laurence Aëgerter presents the monumental site-specific installation "Ode aan dagen van wijsheid" ("Ode to the Days of Wisdom") at the Grote Kerk Alkmaar. Created especially for this historic setting, the new work connects the church’s rich past with urgent questions about knowledge and memory, as well as the ways in which we acquire, interpret and assign meaning to information today.
