Resonances of colorimetric symphonies at the tempo of light, and intimate correspondences between the oceans below and above. It is a journey through the voids of here and elsewhere that the duo Onoko will unveil in the turning pages of the artist’s book ‘RESONANCES’, where ethereal pigments will mingle with words.
And to give the philosophy of this book a body in space, the mobile ‘Bleu de mémoire’, dreamed and fashioned by Onoko, will join the first ten copies. An imprint of our star in cyanotype on pigmented plaster, a fragment of time shaped by hand, oscillating on the world’s line of balance — where sky touches sea, where light becomes weight and silence, movement.
Onoko is the mingled breath of our two voices wandering through the interstices of reality, where images dissolve and imagination takes root. Our journey seeks less to narrate than to reveal, to insulate these fleeting resonances dwelling in the depths of reality — these fragments of light.
The Percept series of abstract impressionist photographs has been our window onto the poetry of the void. A relentless quest for the light it holds and the hidden hues it reveals.
From the prelude of dawn and its resurgence of colours to the symphony of twilight fading into night, the Percept series imprints the atmospheric resonances of colours. This ethereal echo captured, thus appears the formless soul of the void, which is essentially light, color and sound.
These pages are an ode to its perpetual whisper, here and there, on the surface as in the depths.
