Margaret Lansink works from a deep caring for a world in relentless transformation. In a time marked by gradual yet profound shifts - in landscape, climate, and collective structures - her practice speaks in favor of quiet observation. Silence sharpens perception, slows us down and allows what is unfolding to become clearly visible. Using her own photographic imagery as a point of departure, Lansink develops layered compositions in which images are built, reworked, and partially veiled. Earlier stages remain embedded within the surface, creating works that hold their own history. The result is not a fixed image, but a field of subtle transitions.
