Adam Jeppesen’s Folded series (2014–present) presents large-scale photographs of glaciers printed on delicate rice paper and repeatedly folded, thereby introducing subtle sculptural relief into the image. The creases disrupt the illusion of vast, silent landscapes, drawing attention to their stillness while creating a tenuous framework that offers orientation and shifts the photograph from a flat image into an object experienced through depth and materiality.
